The largest educational institution of the six Central Swiss cantons, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts offers state-of-the-art jobs and programmes. We share knowledge in Switzerland and abroad, we are forward-looking, creative, and committed to interdisciplinarity. Help us to shape and become a part of our shared, sustainable future.

The Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology is the country's first department at a university of applied sciences dedicated to computer science. We offer bachelor's and master's programs whose graduates are highly sought-after in the business and science communities, state-of-the-art continuing and executive education programs, applied research into cutting-edge topics, and services of high practical relevance.

The Immersive Realities Research Lab at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology investigates how augmented and virtual reality technologies can be used in different application domains. Examples include cultural heritage and art, urban planning, learning environments, volumetric video, and applied/serious games. The group follows a human-computer interaction approach and explores user experience and interaction design. The research lab is part of the Immersive Realities Center which complements the research activities with teaching (undergraduate and continuing education), public outreach, and consultancy services.

For the lab, we need an experienced and passionate technical artist to join the development team to contribute to the development of a range of educational games and interactive educational experiences. As technical artist you are responsible for effective communication, workflow and pipeline between our designers, artists and engineers. You thrive on solving problems and continuously learning new tools, and processes to utilize in your day-to-day work.
